Found this dryer duct booster which looked promising. The duct booster itself isn't complicated to install, you have airflow coming in and out of it. What was tricky was figuring out how to wire up the current sensor switch (I'm not an electrician). My dryer uses a standard 120V cable so looking at the provided instructions was quite confusing.
